Service purpose

FuelBack MO is a Missouri motor fuel refund recordkeeping and filing-preparation tool. It helps you organize receipts, estimate refund value, and prepare export-ready claim materials.

FuelBack MO is not tax, legal, or accounting advice and does not guarantee any refund outcome.

No government affiliation

FuelBack MO is an independent product and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by, or operated on behalf of the Missouri Department of Revenue or any other government authority.

User responsibilities

You are responsible for the accuracy of the receipts, vehicle assignments, claimant information, and final Missouri submission details you provide and approve.

You are also responsible for reviewing the generated PDF and adding any remaining sensitive fields yourself when required.

You are responsible for keeping any original receipts, invoices, and supporting records Missouri requires you to retain, including records kept for Department review after filing.

Eligibility and filing responsibility

You are solely responsible for determining whether any purchase, vehicle, use case, or filing is eligible for a Missouri fuel tax refund. FuelBack MO does not determine legal eligibility, verify legal compliance, or make decisions for the state.

You are solely responsible for filing on time, providing complete and truthful information, attaching the correct documents, keeping supporting records, and complying with all Missouri requirements that apply to your claim.

Billing and claim-year access

FuelBack MO access is sold by Missouri claim year. Additional scan purchases apply only to the claim year they were purchased for.

Claim-year access and scan allotments do not imply approval, filing acceptance, or refund issuance by the Missouri Department of Revenue.

Payments, renewals, and refunds

Claim-year access purchases, scan add-ons, taxes, fees, and related charges are due at the time of purchase. Unless expressly stated otherwise, payments are non-refundable once access or scan entitlements have been granted.

We may change pricing, plan structure, included scan limits, trial limits, or product features at any time for future purchases. Promotional pricing, coupons, and test access may be limited, modified, suspended, or discontinued at any time.

Any refund, credit, adjustment, or other exception is granted only at FuelBack MO's sole discretion. If you have a billing concern, use the protected support form on this site.

Payment processing, fraud review, bank authorization, settlement, refunds, chargebacks, and card-network disputes may be handled in whole or in part by third-party payment providers. We do not control issuer decisions, network rules, fraud holds, or third-party payment failures.

Trials and promotional access

Any free trial, discount, or promotional code is offered at our discretion and may be revoked, limited, or refused if we believe it is being abused, duplicated, used outside its intended purpose, or used in a way that creates fraud, chargeback, or operational risk.

Acceptable use

You agree not to use FuelBack MO to upload fraudulent receipts, impersonate another filer, attempt to access another user's account, or misuse the service in a way that harms other users or our systems.

Automated processing disclaimer

FuelBack MO may use artificial intelligence, address-validation tools, duplicate-detection logic, and other automated systems to organize data and prepare materials. These tools may be incomplete, inaccurate, unavailable, delayed, or produce false positives or false negatives.

You agree not to rely exclusively on automated outputs and acknowledge that all automated suggestions, labels, estimates, and field extractions require your review.

You authorize FuelBack MO to send receipt images, text, metadata, prompts, and related content through third-party systems that support these features. You understand that third-party model providers or vendors may process that information to perform the requested service.

Third-party services

FuelBack MO depends on third-party providers for infrastructure, storage, email, payments, artificial intelligence, address validation, authentication, and other operational functions. We are not responsible for outages, failures, delays, policy changes, pricing changes, data loss, or acts or omissions of those providers.

Your use of third-party providers, email clients, payment instruments, browsers, cloud services, device software, or government filing systems is governed by the terms and policies of those third parties.

Without limiting the foregoing, FuelBack MO is not responsible for decisions made by card issuers, payment processors, AI model providers, hosting vendors, or government systems, including any refusal, delay, flagging, false positive, refusal to refund, or failure to process a filing or payment.

Suspension and termination

We may suspend, restrict, or terminate access to FuelBack MO at any time if we believe you violated these Terms, misused the service, created legal or security risk, attempted fraud, interfered with the service, or exposed FuelBack MO or other users to harm.

We may also remove content, reject uploads, disable promotional access, limit scans, or block exports where necessary to protect the platform, comply with law, or investigate misuse.

Intellectual property

FuelBack MO and its software, workflows, designs, copy, branding, and related materials are protected by intellectual property and other laws. Except for the limited right to use the service under these Terms, no rights are granted to you.

Availability and changes

We may update, improve, or discontinue parts of the service over time. We may also communicate important changes, deadlines, and account notices by email.

Because claim-year access and add-on scans are one-time purchases rather than recurring subscriptions, there is generally no ongoing subscription to cancel. If you need billing help, refund review, or account assistance, use the protected support form.

FuelBack MO may delete claim-year records, export-generation metadata, and stored receipt images approximately 3.5 years after that claim year's filing deadline. You should not rely on FuelBack MO as your only long-term record archive.

Disclaimers

FuelBack MO is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, whether express, implied, statutory, or otherwise, including any implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, non-infringement, accuracy, availability, quiet enjoyment, or that the service will be error-free or uninterrupted.

We specifically do not warrant that receipt extraction, OCR, address parsing, duplicate detection, export generation, payment processing, email delivery, or filing preparation outputs will be complete, accurate, accepted by Missouri, or suitable for your particular circumstances without your independent review.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, FuelBack MO is provided on an as-is basis. We are not liable for rejected filings, missed deadlines, incorrect user-entered data, or indirect damages resulting from use of the service.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, FuelBack MO, its owners, operators, contractors, affiliates, licensors, and service providers will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, exemplary, punitive, or enhanced damages, or for any loss of profits, revenue, data, goodwill, refunds, filings, opportunities, or business interruption, even if advised of the possibility of such damages.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total aggregate liability arising out of or relating to FuelBack MO or these Terms will not exceed the greater of the amount you paid to FuelBack MO for the specific claim-year access or add-on giving rise to the claim, or fifty U.S. dollars.

Dispute process

Before starting a formal claim relating to FuelBack MO, you agree to first contact us through the protected support form and provide a reasonably detailed written description of the issue so we have an opportunity to review and attempt to resolve it informally.

To the extent permitted by law, any dispute that is not resolved informally will be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Missouri, and you consent to personal jurisdiction and venue in those courts.

Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless FuelBack MO, its owners, operators, affiliates, contractors, service providers, and representatives from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, judgments, losses, costs, and expenses, including reasonable attorneys' fees, arising out of or related to your use of the service, your receipts or claim materials, your violation of these Terms, your violation of law, or your infringement of any third-party rights.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Missouri, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules, except to the extent federal law applies.

Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of FuelBack MO after updated Terms become effective means you accept the revised Terms.
